Events at Church of the Redeemer

Adult Forum:  The Pastoral Leadership Team has decided to initiate a monthly series of adult forum programs beginning next month.  The first program will be entitled "What is the Church's role in politics?" and will be planned and led by Robert Warski.  It will take place on Monday, April 17, at 3:30 PM in the narthex.  The May program will be entitled "Religion of Islam:  Practice and Beliefs."  Deacon Rachel will plan and lead this session.  Adult Forum will take a break for the summer but will resume again in September.  Please mark these dates on your calendar and plan to join us for lively discussions.

Bible Study:  The Bible Study dates for this month are Monday, March 13 and 27, at 3:30 PM in the narthex.  The sessions this month will be led by Deacon Emerita Mary Harriss.  Please plan to join us as we discuss the connection of the scripture to our life experience.

Lenten Program:  On Wednesdays in Lent, at 5:30 PM, there will be a special Lenten program which will begin with sharing a simple meal of soup and bread after which Father Rich will lead a discussion on subjects relevant to the Lenten season.  All parishioners and friends are invited.

Healing Ministry

Church of the Redeemer continues the healing ministry of Jesus in several ways.  One of these is offering prayer, laying on of hands, and anointing with oil to those seeking healing, after the distribution of communion at the 9:00 o'clock service on the first Sunday of every month.  Healing ministry is also offered at the Spanish-language service at 7:00 p.m. every Wednesday evening.
